are mirrors required by law? what kind of experiance to people have with mounting the plate in different places? post up

 

i dont even own mirrors for my bike, ive been pulled over a few times and never got in any trouble for it.. passed inspection without em too...

 

it varies from state to state.....go to dmv and get a book. it will tell you all laws in your state....or just find out the hard way
in illinios we are suposed to have at least one

 

If your bike still looks glama/new, run some dealer paper plates...

 

what about the plate in front of the wheel sideways on the swingarm etc

 

as for the mirrors, ive ridden along side motor cops with no mirrors and runnin slicks, they might say something, but ive never gotten a ticket. and with the tags, hell, choppers run them sideways, and most of my friends have them way tucked up, theve never had problems

 

I'm guessing it could be different in every state but in Florida you have to have at least one mirror and on the plate, it has to be visable from 100 feet (I could be wrong on the distance though).

 

**********ers got me for my plate tuckes unfertail, i didnt have lisence, so they towed that ****, but for mirrors, most piggys dont squil at that ****...
