i was thinkin about converting to an R1 front end on my R6. is this possible?

 

I cannot give you a definitive answer on this so maybe I shouldnt say anything. However I can say that most other manufacturers have swappable front ends. Just about any suzuki GSXR, TL, SV, etc front ends are interchangable with eachother. The same goes for the honda 900RR 929, 954, F2, F3, F4, F4i etc. You should take note that most of the time you have to change out the whole front clip because the only thing that is actually the same is the steering stem bearings and races.

 

I've seen it done and know a guy who has a r6 with a r1 front on it!If your really interested, pm me and I'll get U the info!!

yeah its pretty easy... get the 98-01 r1 front forks clipons triples and steering stem.. and switch em... not that hard

 

im not sure if it fits the budget yet. lol i gotta buy some gearing and a new cage first. but thanks for all the help, atleast i know i can now!
