Whats the trick???

Whats the trick to a good wide spread..Is it all flexability or is it how you sit..I cant figure it out...Im not flexable at all..Im tall, I ride a CBR929. when Im sittin I have to sit close to the bars or I cant reach & I cant spread my legs very far apart ( I never was much of a gymnest)..Whats the trick to makin it look good??

Gotta roll back on your tailbone. I can't do it all that well. But from what I've seen/read/heard the trick is to get up close to the bars, and roll back on your tailbone. Next season I'll be all over it. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

im real skinny, when i do a spreader or highchair i smash my tailbone and cant do another one for a couple days, any ideas??? i eat alot too

Yeah if you watch the guys who do em real clean they are leanin back, and there legs are up far toes pointed. You are lookin more at the under side of their legs not the inside. Check CBOs spreaders his are tight. It looks hella goofy when people have their legs bent, looks like chicken wings.

watch edub do his,just lock your arms,roll back and kick up and out,i like doing mine with the sun at my back and watching my shadow,made me see i wasnt kicking my legs out enough

The shadow idea sounds like a good one tho...Ill try that....In the spring tho..(we got like 2' of snow on the ground right now )
