For f4i Stunters..

Im going to do a new setup with my sprockets and i was just wondering what you guys are runing. Im thinking of going up 6 in the rear down one up in front, is this a good setup? Also, i will be riding the miss's on the back so i dont want the bike to be crap on the highway. One more question, im setting up my 12 bar and i would just like to know if anyone had measurements on how far to mount it. any help/advice would be appreciated,, and ride safe all

Re: For f4i Stunters..

on the 12 bar try to get it right up against the tail light. the more weight on the bar the better for advanced tricks, it makes it more stable.

If you do alot of highway riding i wouldnt gear your bike too extreme it will rev high and kill your gas mileage too.

Re: For f4i Stunters..

just remember. theres no engine break in slow ****. cover that rear brake. 1st gear is only for slow stuff and sidewalk wheelies. i like to do sit down wheelies on sidewalks in first gear past backed up traffic. its great

I got -1 in the front on my 03 f4i and it pulls up in third all day. You'll notice alot more midrange power. At first my buddy would pull hard on his gsxr750 on the interstate and now i can outrun him until about 160.

My bike has alot of engine braking in 1st... You can pretty much scrape it, Chop the throttle and it will bring it back down... No brakes... F4i's are known for engine braking~

Re: For f4i Stunters..

-1 +18...sucks *** on highway. tons of power in all gears..6th gear stand ups no prob... i wouldnt go much bigger than +10 for the highway... for your 12 bar, get some freinds, put bike in gear and pick up front end to 12' hold bike straight and put 12 bar in where you want it and be sure too mark it. make sure the bike is not leaning over to either side ( left or right ).

Re: For f4i Stunters..

+ 10 down 1 it is...nice highchair bikefreak...so how is it doing slower stuff..cause i remember when i had -1 only, i had to open it up pretty hard to bring it up.. I dont mean gasing it..just more throttle then i would like to give it going that slow. With the gearing will it come up a lot easier.. ON a scale of 1-10 how would you rate how quick it comes up with a -1 +10

Re: For f4i Stunters..

i think he meant theres no engine braking when your moving very slowly, because their really isnt much engine brake at low rpms on one wheel.
