what do all the 900rr people recommend for oil level / pick up on a bike used for 12's don't want to blow my new sreetfighter baby and i know stuntex dosen't have a pick up yet what do i do?

 

close ur eyes n prey. turn off ur bike in coaster's.. or 12's . that'd be sick

 

anyone with real advise.

 

i 've heard a lot of 900RR stunters just add an extra litre to their bike and have no problems .they even ride them for 2 -3 miles .

i just got a 98 900 myself.. and im pretty sure just adding an extra quart will be fine, i'll ask some friends what they do.. i'll post back

just make one. its very easy actually. all you need is a flat piece of steel and 1" OD(not 100% sure if its 1" but thats how it is on the gsxrs) tube with some washers. i can make you one if you bring me your bike for a day or two. let me know bro, im in riverside and i got time and a shop all week this week.

 

if i add and extra quart to my 900 it sucks oil into the airbox and smokes real bad and fouls out plugs.

 

where is the oil pick up on the 900rr? is it in the front or back? well like i said, ill make you one if you bring up your bike to riverside.

 

We have a 99 900RR and a 93 900RR and on both of them we unhook the breather tube coming off the valvecover at the airbox. and then we run 5 qts. of oil, and we have not had any problems. just DO NOT plug the breather hose coming off the valvecover.
