Re: Complete guide for learning basic wheelies the right way

^haha yea i just tried using this the other nite and it worked for me 1st gear, first try. no clutch just powering it up by snapping the throttle.
I have a 2006 gixer 600 also which people have told me doesnt wheelie because of the longer swingarm but thats not entirely true. Also 15mph didnt work for me i had to raise the speed to about 30 or 35 i think that put the bike in its powerband more.
anyway ive decided im going to get those cages and sliders before really getting into it because i dont want to destroy the bike.
thanks

15mph works with the clutch. you're powering it up at 30-35 and it's going to bite you sooner than later. learn the clutch squid

Re: Complete guide for learning basic wheelies the right way

words of wisdom my man, now practice is the hard part. i bailed off my f4i a couple of months ago scraping the back at a wheelie school, now i need to build up the confidence to do it again. throttle modulation is alot harder then it sounds.
