Sprocket help

I recently bought the street/stunt kit from thrust company for my 05 gsxr 600 it's a 54t rear -1 front 520 conversion I put it on an ill get on my local crosstown clutch up 3rd but yet I can't stay at a decent speed the gear winds out then I gotta put it back down like I had to with stock gearing. Did I buy the wrong sprockets? Or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Re: Sprocket help

Are you at balance point? Sounds like your infront of it. That would explain why your winding out the gear. All bigger sprockets do is improve acceleration. Ya you get up to speed faster, But you sacrifice top speed.

"I put it on an ill get on my local crosstown"
What does that mean?
