ok so i have a 98 zx6r. its a streetfighter style instead of a stun but this would be easily answered here than newhere else probably.

im doin a dirt bar conversion and it currently has a 05/06 suspension front and rear including wheels.

so far the parts i have are 03/04 top triple, pro taper crf risers, fly racing bars, and z1000 brake lines.

my question is, will i have to order oversize throttle and clutch cables and how much longer will they have to be. im wanting a near factory look to how the cables fit and not coming from out from under the tank and be all over the place

 

Depending on how much rise, and what bars your using they should still fit. Although it may require rerouting them through the bike. If you need new lines, you can order them from Motion Pro. Just tell them you want +4" etc... Not too expensive either.

 

im runnin a set of fly racing cr high bends.


i just wanna make sure i have everything before i tear it down AGAIN lol

 

More than likely stock will work, but they may get real tight when turning bars all the way to one side or the other.

 

thanks for the help man. went and mocked everything up and looks like only thing need to replace is the brake line and i have one sitting here.

gotta have some light machine work done to the triple and ill be back on the road
