how many people relocate there key???

how many people relocate there key???

i was wonderin how many people take there key off the top tripple and where do they relocate it to??? or do they just cut it off and run a toggle
i am thinkin bout doin this to my 06 zx6rr but want to keep my key because im kinda in a shady neighborhood

drill the rivits out and take the wires as far as they'll go and put it where you want. i've had a gsxr under the seat and a yamaha by the air box. got my f4i on a toggle in my air box.

There's really not room under the seat. I welded a little bracket on my cage out of the way and kinda hidden.

I disabled my Engine Stop switch and turned it into my ignition.

But you loose the "lock" function isn't it?? Any of you have pictures??

My chopper has no key. Cut the kill switch on and hold down the start button and she fires right up

yeah, if you want to relocate your key... the lock is in the key cylinder

if someone wants your bike i dont think the lock feature is going to deter them . you could always get another ignition with lock and have one lock the steering and the other for the actual ignition. i happen to have a good lock with key , the actual ignition wiring is no good . 20 shipped

i guess a toggle it is then lol does anyone run like a tether kill switch??? i have one on my four wheeler and love it i dont have to chase it after i fall off haha
