f4i fi 12 bar setup?
f4i fi 12 bar setup?
hi all
never fitted a scrape bar before and just wanted to check peeps advice first before i jump in as i have to drill the subframe for this one
i have got a freestyle ingenuity 12 bar and wondered the best way to fit it
i can follow the manufacturers fitting instructions but wondered if anyone fitted it differently for better or worse?
whats the best way?
cheers all

Re: f4i fi 12 bar setup?
still not got around to fitting it
so many peeps talk about fitting theres differently so im stuck
if i follow FI's guide for fitting the bar it seem to stick out of the back too far?
has anyone fitted a standard FI 12 bar accordingly with the guide or lined it up yourself with a flat edge from the rear wheel up?
hope someone can help
cheers all

Re: f4i fi 12 bar setup?
i hooked up my powers 12 bar with the U bolts provided, and it took a lot of precise cutting the tail to make it fit/look correct. maybe post a picture so that its easier to walk you through it.
Re: f4i fi 12 bar setup?
thanks for the reply
With the FI you got to grind the welds off the rear end of subframe and then drill holes to fit
no u-bolts with this one
cutting the tail down shouldnt be a problem its just everyone explains how to fit the bar differently
