F4i Dual Fan Mod

So would it be ok to hook the second fan up to the current fans power? My dad says itll blow a fuse if both are on at the same time (im gonna leave the first fan wired to the thermosensor and the second one to a switch and no sensor) He said to run a fuse off the ingnition switch then hook it to the switch and so on.

So what should i wire it to the current fan power or the ignition switch

Ignition switch. But on a switch. Not hard wired. That way you can turn it on or off. Then again, if you hard wire it to a switch, you can cut it on even if the bike is off.... Like sitting in NAsty traffic or with eating a sandwich at the lot

Yea i planned on running it through a switch for the dude, just didnt know where to hook the power to. SHould i run an inline fuse through the wire?

Were currently setting up this F4i for my bud and didnt know what to wire it to.

Anytime bud. An inline fuse is a good idea as long as it is easily accesible.

How did you mount the 2nd fan? I used the plastic quick connect ties for rad fans from the auto parts stores. They break and will funk up your core. I am going to find a **** rad and have the taba welded on mine.
