when i flipped the ars on my 98 zx6r. i put the bars underhe triple. i really didnt notice that much difference cause the front end hd to be raised up otherwise it would be lower an inch. so the triple is flush withthe forks. instead of the bars being flush (stock setup). i wanted the a lil more forward, straighter, but i cant tighten them down. only tighten them to the forks. i like to have the bolt in the triple. does everyone jut tighten them to the forks?? wat the deal?

you flip them and put them on top.. not bottom

if you want to bolt them to the tripple then drill a new hole

 

i cant when ther is a 1 inch gap between the screw hole and the bottom(which is now the top of the clipon) id need a 1 1/2 6mm bolt and like 10 washers. ill take pics

 

Ok well here u go, someone give me advice.

first pic- clip-ons are normal how they are stock

second- font view showing no gap. again stock

third-flipped the clips left to right, u can see the gap because of how the clip-ons are mounted.

fourth- obviously holes will line up but like 1 inch gap in between clip and
triple.....

fifth- how i mounted it till i get advice. bent them a lil away and just tightened down the clip-ons with no bolt in the triple.

do i have to make a bracket to secure them from spinning or just buy some db bars or what??? or just spin them so holes line up and put a 1 1/2 6mm bolt al the way to the triple??
oikno i could get the clipons under the triple but the point is to make is feel like db bars putting under the triple will be just like stock again........

 

just flip em and tighten down the pinch bolts..

they shouldn't move
