tandem spreader

all right at the spot yesterday me and my old lady were working on some tandem and we decided to try some with her on the tank. But in the process of doing this instead of my front end coming up it pretty much just launched and did a bunny hop with her on it. I could only get it to come up a few inches and then it hooked and away we went at a rate of speed i was not comfortable with. Any advice on this delema? Cause i really do not feel like rocketing her to the moon in the process of bringing the front end up.

don't do tandem unless your 100% confident in controlling your bike

sounds like the wheel is spinning. weight is too far forward and not being transferred to the rear at clucthup

tandem is not a problem, we just have never tried with her on the front. I mean granted we dont do circles or anything like that (considering i cant do a circle by myself) but i think i get where your going with that statement.... but how will i get used to the weight transfer of her being up front?

Re: tandem spreader

Strap a sandbag or 2 to your tank, then when you wreck only one person will end up in the hospital

As being a tandem rider myself i was woundering have you tried just the basic sitdown with her on the back??? then maybe try with you on the tank and her in your seat??? And work it up to her back on the tank

of course i have, i would not just go to her on the tank right off the back. Were the only people around here that do tandem. But never tried with me up front and her in the back, i think im gonna try that (wait til i get my hand brake ) but i still will. Since i noticed your avi, my old lady wants me to rock a tandem endo.......with your woman on the front would my best bet be to go gradual with it until i can roll them with her on? Sorry for so many questions but she is bored with the usual **** we do and wants me to start "branching out to new things" God their never happy huh?

That is the woman who was talking to u.. if you are spinning the tire with her weight on the front u are either dumping the clutch to hard (sometimes in tandem its al most like riding in the rain u have to dump the clutch easy and then power into it).Check your tire you might have a garbage tire on there and u can drop a few pounds in the tire. As far as stoppies go i really don't know as my stoppie game is garbage but i do roll farther with my gurl on the bike wether shes on the front or back. I leave U on this just take your time and make sure u both feek good about everything u do cause she can cause u to **** up just as fast as u can **** up.. Keep tryin bro and good Luck
