636 fan ?

i took my front nose off, moved my speedo, turn signals off, trimmed the front side fairings and now when i run my bike until it gets hot, the fan runs for a while when i shut the bike off. probably like a minute. is this normal? or does it have something to do with the **** i disconnected?

Sounds like your bike is getting hot so your fans kicking on.. I took out my temp sensor and cut my fan line and ran it into a toggle switch and placed the switch inside my left side plastic.. Once my bike warms up, I turn the fan on and run it constant and flip it off when I'm done stunting..

Re: 636 fan ?

dont eliminate the temperature switch just put a toggle switch between the two wires that go to the temp switch that way if you ever forget to turn on the fan switch the fan will still come on at the regular temperature ..

and yes it is normal for your fan to stay on even after you turn the key off if the bike is hot enough for the fan to be on ..
