im trying to get dirt bike bars set on my 2005 636.im real tired of breaking clipons. but im having some trouble because of the design of the clamp. its not a smooth clamp like on a gixxer its set to to be fancy i guess (wack). but basiclly i cant drill for the risers because of the design.so what im getting at is can i rock a clamp from a diffrent bike as long as it is 50mm ,or can i buy an aftermarket one made for bike.

haha sick of breaking clip ons? wait till u get those dirt bars on there. if ur breaking the stock clip ons then go to vortex then u can just replace the tubes for 10 dollars instead of blowing 60 dollars or more everytime u bend/break ur dirt bars.

keep the DB bars on your KX 250

 

Any updates on this? Looking for a cheap way to fit risers on a 636 front end I bought for my build.
