03-04 full fairing 636 with cage pictures

wanted to see the sick innovations and searched and it looks like one style you cut the fairing for the lower bar, and another i seen had the lower mount kind of like a powerz cage,,,, flat bar so you don't have to cut the fairing. post some pictures please. I picked up a tygershark but you have to cut small wholes for the support and this is my mint bike so no cutting!! ha thanks in advance......post up

You have to cut for the 636 Sick cage unless they changed the style drastically in the last year. You have to possible solutions:
A) Sack up, take your time, cut your holes
B) Get race rails... if it's a mint bike you're not turning into an all-out stunter don't get the added weight/bulk of the stunt cage and save your precious plastic

yeah I'm not worried about the wholes as im good at that. but for re-sale I don't want them if the next person just want sliders...I'll try to find this picture it was a 6rr but the 636 has the same mounting position. The bottom support tied in under the fairing.

Re: 03-04 full fairing 636 with cage pictures

yeah It looks like a sick/powers hybrid cage.... I put the tygershark cage on without the cross bar. thats how my f4i tygershark is and its pretty tank, in a super squid fall it will flex and touch the cases. But it was a custom cage and sits really close like less then half inch away.... guess we will see. I just wanted some extra protection. I just ride this one around do some stoppies and stuff not really much else on this one. all else fails I will drill and cover the wholes with stickers...haha
hey Suicidl I ended up with a 46 tooth driven sprocket if you still need that size hit me up.

Re: 03-04 full fairing 636 with cage pictures

I had to trim the fairing just to get it to clear on the right side not much but still had to do some trimming. I put the front bar on in front of the fairing and up as far as it would go, the first time i went to do a stoppie it hit I tried moving it but thats as much as it would go and it hits everytime like that. I don't know how you ran it without that problem? talked to bruce and he said you have to cut the fairings for sure..... send you a pm tomorrow gotta get to bed to wake up early and work in this ******* heat wave!

Re: 03-04 full fairing 636 with cage pictures

**** forgot to send you a message...yeah that how i had it and my front end is pretty stiff but it was hitting so hard it would make the bike shudder(is that a word) Im running it without the sides anyways its still super stout thats how my f4i is with a tygershark... I might be stunting it out anyways so the plastics will just get cut and call it a day. but from the talk I had with the tygershark owner you are supposed to cut the plastic and that part should be up by the header, he makes 2 types one for the stock header and one for aftermarket headers then it totally out the way... can't believe you never had it rub and scare the **** outta you?
