throttle wheelie yzf600r (thundercat) HELP!

owned my bike for bout a year and a half and don't nesicarily want to make it a dedicated stunt bike...just want to ride a wheelie and I found a video on youtube about learning to wheelie and I know clutch wheelies can go really wrong really fast and in the video the guy was wheeling a ninja 636 just by rolling into 1st gear...I know the 636 is lighter but I believe with the right technique I could do a wheelie without the clutch on my 600r just havent figured it out yet. I just want to learn predictable wheelie before I destroy my plastics with a clutch wheelie. so is it possible to do a throttle only wheelie on a 600r? if so what technique should be used?

Use the clutch son! Picking it up with a handful of throttle is a lot more dangerous and unpredictable imo. I had a yzf600 about 8 years ago and I could yank it up on the highway with -1 +2 gearing. USE THE CLUTCH! Nobody on this site is gonna condone just grabbing a handful

+1 Just take it slow learn where you need to be when you clutch it up don't go for it all the first time you try power wheelies suck mainly because its all smooth sailing till you get it close to BP Then its just going to take off and loop... But that's just my thoughts on the subject...
