i've got woodcraft clipons right now, and when i'm trying anything slow or high BP my wrists get sore/numb and i'm thinking if i flip them and turn them out it will help.. only thing is i've heard of cable length/other problems.. any tips on actually doing it? (97 F3)

Re: tips on flipping clip ons

it should be pretty straight forward. with flipped clip ons you should be alright with the stock cables. look at it for a while and hammer a 12er and you will figure it out fosho. it always works for me......

most of the time.

turning them out will help a lot. flipping them will help a little, its more of a personal preference thing.

Re: tips on flipping clip ons

well i'm still FF.. and i've tried turning them out a little and it helped ALOT at my spot.. but i coudln't ride or take turns due to my windscreen... should i cut it down or try to flip them and turn them out?

(street bike also)

and also, i went +1 more in the rear (-1/+3) and its so much more smooth... helped me alot (but i bet it was the clip-ons turned out that helped more)

Re: tips on flipping clip ons

flipped and turned out gives you wayy more leverage on the bike. im short and used to drop my bikes all the time before stunting, once i started flipping and pushing em out i rarely even drop my bike even when i highside circles. and its just way more comfortable, even for general riding.
