r6 issues?

hey been riding for a while and ended up selling the f4i about 4 months ago cuz of financial issues and various hospital visits (thanks f4i and fiddy :D ). I was able to do staggareds , seat standers, coasters, etc for virtually as long as I want. It had fullthrot HB and 901 cage.

Anyway I haven't been on a bike in the 4 - 5 month time period. I finally got a 05 r6 for a pretty good deal. Just has a gytr slip on. I tried doin some stand ups, sitdowns, 1st, 2nd gear. I can't do anything at all! It seems so twitchy and wierd. Do i need to gear this thing or just get used to it?

ya R6 is not a F4i you just have to get used to the bike It wants to go fast so be good on the gas.

Re: r6 issues?

that's why i was asking about gearing cuz like you said r6 wants to just GOOOO. It seems like when I bring up a slow wheelie it will hit about 6k to 8k sometimes and change cam timing or something and pull really hard making it hard to keep the front end where I want it.
