Hi,

I've been a member for a while, but do more reading then posting (usually can find any info I want with search!).

I have a project bike I've been building over the last few years. Its not a stunter, but I do plan on putting handlebars on it. Before everyone tells me how gay bars are, let me explai - I like them for casual streetriding- I've had ducati Monsters and SV650s and loved the bars. I have a 954rr already, so I'd like the 600 to be a more casual bike.

This frankenF3 has an 04 1000rr front end - I'd like to know if I can just drill the triple and use the bars and risers I have, or if I need to purchase and expensive upper triple from lsl or 998cc or somewhere like that.

I've been searching for a while but all I am really finding is for unrelated bikes, f4i + 1krr throttle tube threads, and people arguing about wether or not db bars are gay....

dirt bike bars are nice for stunt, i cant ride street for **** on em but if you have a 954 with clipons you get the best of both worlds

As long as the triple is flat, you can drill it. Thats what i did with my f4 and its a stunter and doesnt have any problems
