i bought a bike with the 954 front end. can't find anything saying how much lower it is then when it had f4i forks? the clipons were above the triple wich to me seemed super low so i put them back under and it seems normal.....just a question no point really just wondering

yeah but look around and at least half the people put them on top when they do the swap.... I run them on top for my 954 also but have a ho-hey triple. question is how much does it lower the bike...from picture it looks like 954/929 forks are alot shorter then f4i

 

2in if they are below I think 3 if they are above

 

dang...thats alot I was thinking maybe an inch if the clip's are below the triple

 

yea f4i forks are 30 in long where a 929/954 are only 28 then if you put the clip ons on top thats droping the forks even more
