03 R6 Fork Setup

I have a few friends that raised their forks and I was just curious whats the benefit if any for doing this... Im new to stunting and am tryin to set my bike up and was interested on some things... Thanks -

lowering the front of the bike makes it so you are less likely to skid your front tire in a stoppie but raising the front of your bike makes the sweet spot in a stoppie larger ...

pretty much, yeah! also less prone to headshake if you raise it a bit..

Ok so how much are you guys raising and/or lowering yours... And your lowering the forks right? I know everybodys setup is different Im just curious to know... Thanks for the help...
