do not learn in first...you will flip.....
go in 2nd gear at about 30mph slip the clutch with some more gas(dont forget to cover the rear brake..) once ya hit the oh **** point..go just a touch farther...ease off the throttle and bam,,yer on one down the street...
foot brake foot brake foot brake..always cover the foot brake....

Was that a sarcastic comment? Or are you just trying to get him hurt? Or do you REALLY suggest people learn in 2nd gear?
If you are starting wheelies at 30mph, then your chances at wrecking at 40+ are very high..
If your starting wheelies at 10mph and riding them out to 30mph, you will NEVER hit the ground at 40+...
Keep it in 1st gear tell you can control it! 2nd will hurt you.. 1st you'll pick your bike up and ride away from it if you wreck..

not sarcastic at all.....
ya know how many vids ive seen of people trying to learn to wheelie in first...(not trying to learn slow stuff) and raaaahhhhhh tooo much tourqe and them and the bike are smashed....
Re: Need a lil help w/ my f4i
I never even had hte ***** to attempt a 2nd gear, tell I hit a lot, and tried 1st gear about 40 times and waas holding them about 2-3 blocks
Re: Need a lil help w/ my f4i
but every one learns diff....
Re: Need a lil help w/ my f4i
ok so if i try it in 2nd at about 30 mph when i pull the clutch in what rpm about should i take it up to before i start slippin it? and kinda got another question about footplacement, i know what should cover rear brake but do i use passenger footpegs or is that not till down the line?
Re: Need a lil help w/ my f4i
I would think 1st gear wheelies would be better just for the engine brakeing. Just start around 4000rpms slipping the clutch and move up 1000 rpms each time. Once you get comfertable with that and can hold them for a while then I would try staggered.
