should i trade my gix750 for a 636?

both bikes stunted, 636 owner wants a 750 to use as a street bike and I want a better stunt bike. just starting out so it wont be hard for me to change. it seems on here and everywhere thats its either the cbr600 or more often the 636. is the preferred bike for stunting.. intelligent opinions wanted please. both bikes pretty much equal value.

get an f4i to learn on, the 636's are too weak to learn on....still better than the 750, but not as good as the f4easy.

f4easy not really an option here now. i knew you would say that Roger!

the 636 feels lighter for sure just sitting on it.

With the 636 at least your frame will tuck instead of breaking.

But really Id take a 636 over a Gixxer anyday

If you're still learning BP........the 636 could pop on you. I have a friend that's only been stunting for about a year and a half w/ a 636.....he's been through 3 motors. First two were from chasing BP. Don't know much about the Gixxers durability when it comes to high rpm whoolies.

He actually did his own crazy mod when he first got the bike. He got like 6 or 7 feet of hose....connected it to the crankcase breather nipple, wrapped it around the motor once, then it terminates into a catch-can w/ a tiny filter on it up by the radiator. So, in all reality.....it's quite similiar to the clean air mod. Instead of oil going into the exhaust, it makes its way through this hose to the catch-can, then gravity feeds back to the crankcase. Probably even a bit safer for a newb chasing BP.......you don't burn the oil, it just goes somewhere else for a minute...LOL.
