endos !Help!
I m not sure what im doing wrong, well i tried a endo at about 60 told by a friend to start that fast.... well grabed to much because i couldnt get the rear tire to where it would stay up so i basically got frustared and went end over end *moron moment*
Do i pre-load the rear tire like i would a wheelie? i have got a idea of what to do but dont get me wrong havent tried many since last summer, if you guys have any words of wisdom or any thing that could help me get a endo for at least 20 ft that would be great
should I have a certin set up as in brake lines, fork settings,
thanks

Re: endos !Help!
I got the same problem. I do slower stoppies but when I get the back tire up I don't roll. I just stop. It goes up then right back down again. No rolling involved at all. I think I got the idea of it but is there like a certain balance point you have to be at in order to roll it?
Re: endos !Help!
maybe thats why he was on here asking because someone else told him to start off faster...... i know when i first started someone told me that trying Stoppies/Rolling Endos at low speeds was stupid and how people fawk up.... thankfully i went the way of the wheelie and my buddies went into learning the endo, lets just say ive seen plenty of bottom side of a CBR600 and a GSXR600 lol.
anyhow, knocking someone for asking a questions is just a stupid childish thing to do, your in the Stunting Help and Advice thread, not the Slam People Cuz Ur SkillZ is So Mad thread....

any tips?? Re: endos !Help!
like IMP-INC said, everyone has different ways of doing them... I don't have 'em down by any means but I can give you the info that was given to me and hope it helps you...
first, bike setup... I've been told that it helps to have braided lines to fight the loss of brake line pressure... also was told to have front suspension a little on the soft side...
as for your motions, a friend of mine in BR told me to start off slow... 30-35 is a good speed to start... use your legs to support you, NOT your arms... you can try multiple different ways of "bouncing" your front suspension (whatever is most comfortable for you)... after the front comes back up and tries to settle, increase your brake pressure (so the braking is done while the forks are settling back down)... do not just lock it up or you will more than likely experience a cloud of smoke and sudden meeting with the ground...
as you go on, you will probably find different ways of doing it that may be more comfortable for you... don't think you're doing it wrong... EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN WAY OF DOING IT... if it works, it works... just giving you someplace to start... hope it helps...
it sounds stupid, but to gain my comfort level, I had a friend get on the front of my quad and gradually worked up a little more speed every time i made the attempt... he would jump off before we got too far over if need be... I only fell once like that and it was worth more laughs than pain... it really helped me get more comfortable with the idea of being on the front wheels only...

Its also not the "let me get off topic and whine like a little bitch" forum
Re: endos !Help!
Get a pilot poer front tire. Set yourompression all the way soft, rebound all the way hard. That will help the weight transfer and help the front tire bite. After that it's baby steps. Come in towards the top of 1st gear. Helped me go from 0' to 100' pretty quickly. That's where Iam stuck right now though.
