Ive heard of guys putting an 04/05 cbr 1000rr front end on a CBR f4i. I was wondering if the 06 is identical and will bolt up to an F4i just the same. in other words will an 06 cbr 1000rr front bolt up to my 02 F4i? Any help would be apprieciated. Tryin to help a buddy out and get his bike all ready for the next stunt season.

 

yup its the same only thing diff is the color of the wheel..

 

and the color of the lower fork legs is different too...

 

and the rotors are 10mm smaller....

04/05 uses 310mm.... 06/07 uses 320mm.... hence the small silver shims on the 07' brake mounts.

 

so i'm assuming you have to have everything rotors calipers fender and all right? does the bearing races in the lower triple mou8nt up just the same on the f4i neck as they would on the 1000rr or do you have to use the stock f4i races and such

 

Yes you need the ENTIRE front end.. calipers etc.

The steering stem bearings/races are the same... f4i/1000rr
