cage problems

cage problems




^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That pic is my cage, its a sick inno on a 05 R6. Notice the hole where a cage slider would go(I really need some of those), well from my bike smacking the ground that hole has got smaller and I can't fit a socket in there to tighten up my cage.

What can I use to open up that hole without damaging the cage.

i use a lady finger ....

it's like a pry bar but its got a point on one end so i put the pointy part in the cage and give it a good wack.......

I think imma try that, then once I get the holes open put sliders in there. I was trying to file it away, that was just a whole lot of nothing.....

it's funny you say that because at first i just wrote lady finger but then i edited it to explain what a lady finger was because even people who own them don't know thats what the old school ones were called now they call them rolling head pry bars or close quarter pry bars
