Just hot ******* on a two lane highway. They figured he has going about 100mph on his back wheel when the tractor pulled out.

Your bike is PLENTY powerful enough. I can wheelie the dirtbike with some effort in 4th...

No no no. BP is lower at higher speeds, not the gear you're in. It's so hard to explain. Because in different gears the motor runs the bike differently (engine braking, revving, etc.)...

Just go practice

I see... But my bikes heavier... Do you still think I can get it up in 4th. Also, if I was gunna try, what should my revs be at before I slip n' bounce?

Amen to that thanks.

It's easier at higher speeds.. So I'm led to believe.

If you can ride a 1st gear wheelie out... Then you can freeway wheelie forever in higher gears. Thats what I'm thinkin in my head, so I wanna learn to get one up in higher gears to just ride em out on the freeway..

Yeah I said that before too. You DO NOT want to loop at 65mph... The fastest I've ever wheelied is like 20...

Re: 2nd gear wheelies. problems.

i'm a newb, but i recently started clutchin second gear wheelies, i think your best tip is what one of the other guys said, be accelerating as you slip the clutch... i'm rockin a 600 also and i don't even have to bounce to get it up... if you do it right... get in 2nd, ride up to 5-6 grand accelerating, slip the clutch to around 10, and pop that front wheel off the ground... i'm still not the greatest at bp wheelies, but still i can tell it's a much smoother gear to wheelie in, although you DEFINATELY have to be more careful when goin that fast... as they said, you don't wanna loop it at 70mph... just my

No bounce hu? Damn, thanks man, I'll give that a shot.

Hey can you do up 3rd gear too? You must be able to bounce it if nothing else. How about 4th aswell?

thanks again.

Re: 2nd gear wheelies. problems.

Dude why ? you can go over 130 in 3rd.. if your doing a wheelie that fast you need to be on a discovery channel special. hahaha.. im sure if you rev a r6 to the revlimiter and dump the clutch at 100 in 4th gear.... chances are its going to come up.. mabe im wrong but theres no reason to even ask questions about wheelies that fast unless your a pro .. and when your good enuff to do wheelies tripping the flux capacitor im sure you wont have any more questions about power wheelies.. but good luck..

Re: 2nd gear wheelies. problems.

This **** is getting out of hand. Post up video of you "riding out first gear wheelies". There is no such thing, you can ride for miles in first.

Your replies are scary its almost like youve never seen a wheelie. I mean how far did you think you were gonna go clutching it from 10k RPM. Put in some serious time watching vids and reading posts. This **** is not a joke.

There is far less engine brake in higher gears (you can still loop even if you close the throttle).

If you cannot use rear brake DO NOT even try in second.

Go read the wheelie sticky 10 times before posting again. If you post in the next 15 minutes we'll know your not looking to really learn

Re: 2nd gear wheelies. problems.

never tried 3rd, don't really see any reason to, to be honest... 2nd gear is about highway speed, i don't see any reason to get up in third unless you really got wheeling down and you're good enough to just roll at lower rpms on one wheel... my
