exactly. newbs are too quick to get on here and ask what to do after just trying it once. do it 5000 times and destroy yourself that whole time before you even worry about questions.

also, read everything on this forum, just go through them and read. there are a bunch of awsome sticky's on circles and learning 12's......go read them.

Re: slow wheelies

I wouldnt suggest learning wheelies of any kind on a street bike... Theyre very unforgiving.. Harder to control then a dirtbike.. Learn on a dirtbike then move up to your street bike..

dont' encourage him.....and actually that's dumb. on my MX bikes i never do wheelies.

but plain and simple, just forget about the whole thing and have your stuntlife account deleted. everyone is safer that way.

what? why u talkin ****? i'm just giving him advice.. i learned on my dirtbike and moved to my streetbike.. crashed my dirtbike a lot but i learned.. everything i learned transfered to my streetbike except the clutch up which is a lot different
after a month of this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o1F6Qe-vvM
day 5 of getting the clutch up on my streetbike:

best way to learn imo

Re: slow wheelies

because, although it sounds like a good idea, they are 2 different types of bikes. if you want to learna streetbike then start on a streetbike. if it where the same i would rock some killer stuff on my kxf, but i can't, know why? cause i dont' do them on the dirtbike. i can do ss circles into combos on my f4i, probably couldn't ride a 10 ft wheelie on my kxf.

you might get over a fear or something on them of falling, but you'll haev to relearn the streetbike when you get on it. harder for newbs to move around. judging by the content on this site, i would say most people here now have problems learning a wheelie on 1 bike, let alone multiple.

when i was 100% newb every time i thought i got close to bp i wasn't even close.. i got on a db and knowning that i wouldn't fall on asphault at 10-20 mph trying to learn bp made my progress happen a lot quicker.. it gives you an idea of how how you are in a wheelie and IT DOES HELP

why you trying to argue that ****? stupidest thing i've ever heard and if you can rock **** on your street bike like that then you should have no problem riding a bp wheelie on a db.. only difference is the balance its harder to balance them.. whihc helped me alot with my balance on my street bike.. i am uste to making huge adjustments on my db and its easier to make the smaller ones on my street bike.. WTF dude.. why u argueing this?

Re: slow wheelies

the reason i'm arguing it because of my last sentence.

newbs on here are ******* morons, they can't think for themselves, ride a bike by themselves, so what makes you think they could understand learning a dirtbike then going to a streetbike. that's overload for their small little newbie brains to understand. ****, most of them can't even use a search button or read a thread, how are they going to worry about that?

Re: slow wheelies

hey binder929... think back way in the day when u were a noob and had a small brain too...lol... ya gotta start somewhere... i'm not sayin i'm even close to bein a good stunter, but at least i'm workin on it...
u just sounded kinda worried that maybe some of them noobs will get farther than your skill level, so that's why u don't wanna give advice??
if you don't wanna give advice, maybe you should get out of the "Stunting Help and Advice" forum?

Re: slow wheelies

i wasn't in here...i actually don't come in here for that reason.

it was on the top 10.

and i'm not worried anyone is gonna get better than my skill level. i couldn't care less about other people, i ride for me.

when i was a noob i stayed the hell off the internet and went and practiced. i also went through and read all the threads that the OG's posted about stuff and just studied it, then went out and tried it. i spent probably 6-8 hours a night just riding and practicing. basically get off work every night and ride until 1-2 in the morning. that seemed to work out pretty good. maybe you should try it.

Re: slow wheelies

Binder929rr I hate to tell yah but I rode a Db my whole life. Untill last summer i decided to buy a 99cbr600 f4. On My db I could wheelie that thing like a champ and lemme tell you ive tried on my street bike and it's completly diffrent. BUT knowing how to wheelie a dirtbike give you alot more of a headstart for trying to learn. I do have to agree the only way anyone is going to learn how to wheelie is to practice. But i think the whole point of having a thread call help and how to is for people that are trying to learn. And alot of the times learning how to wheelie on a 500 pound bike for the first time is sketchy as hell. I woulda been on here too trying to learn as much as i can from the pros. But keep trying and make sure ur wearing ur saftey equipment.
