Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

if you don't want the second caliper[hoe hey designs if you do] you can get an adapter[full throttle inc] that goes into you rear master right where the res is now and get yourself a good radial master and some ss brake line and your set

pm hoe hey for the dual caliper set up or go to the top of the page and click on full throttles add if you just want the adapter both are cool people and will answer all your questions im sure

id do that, i wish i would of, by the time you get the line and adapter you could spend another hundred and get the ft master which is very nice..

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

Hey old man roger. So I read what you wrote and did a lil research and basiclly if im understanding this right, what im gunna wanna get is a Fullthrottleinc billet rear master cylinder or the adaptor kit either with steel brake lines. I also need another reservior on the bars. What kind of handle do I use? I hear Brembo has some kinda setup with a lerel, master cylinder, and reservior. Is that true and are they the best? Sorry if im asking you guys dumb questions, I just wanna do this right the 1st time.

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

Get the Brembo 16x18. I don't think the full throttle set up comes with a master any more but mine did. Hooking it up next week.

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

brembo is the best .

they have the smooth feel and they have masters that are designed to work with one caliper

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

just a thought, you said you don't mess with rear brake. you must be a god at wheelies then to have learned them really good without touching a rear brake.

you need to get your junk a little higher before you need a rear handbrake doing seat standers. if you aren't past balance then you'll never need a brake.

yes, i do need to read slower. i try to read the entire internet between patients...hard thing to do

there's a decent sticky on hb setups....i think stunt discussion forum.

basically you just need the adapter kit from haibikeshop.com which has a line and an adapter...then a master cylinder. i would suggest just using any old master for right now to keep cost down while you figure out what you like. i'm running an old 900rr master that is 14mm and works great. awsome feel and will lock up the tire on command. best of all it was free. you can pick them up at ebay for like 20-30$ if you dont have access to one. once you get comfortable with it then you can drop some cash on a nice master.....or be lazy like me and just keep using the old junk that seems to work just as good as my friend's expensive masters.

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!

ya, there's nothing wrongw ith the brembo. don't feel bad for buying it, you'll use it.

i always recommend people try just a cheaper one to get the feel going if they don't have cash for the expensive stuff. mine ended up for the better because it was a free master, and it does everything i need it to exactly how i need it.

and sorry about the delay, your thread was burried in the 8 million threads about wheelies and squid stuff. haha
