Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
Ok ok ok, im sorry about the squid thread binder. Ill kick myself for you ok? hahaha. Yes OMR I did spend the money and I know Tone Medina and checked his set up out and am feeling a lot better about spending the cash now. So the brembo hand brake came in the mail today, and looks sweet! But that is all its gunna do for now cuz the fullthrottleinc master is gunna take another week (damn back order). Thanks for the advice guys, I know how painful it can get typing the same crap over and over again. Ill crash my 1st spreader attempt for you guys!
Hey binder, no more 929 or is it just not in the list of your bikes?

Hey guys do I need aftermarket clip ons to run my rear hand brake cuz i dont see how its gunna fit unless i get a longer bar or cut the grip?
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
and if you have your brembo, why are you waiting for the full throttle master to come in? i think that might have been a typo and you are waiting for your adapter to come in....
and no, i had 2 929's. sold one cause i didn't ride it, then my stuntbike shut off about a mile into a spreader and slammed me down and broke my back and pelvis. got walking again and tore that bike down to find out what went wrong and couldn't find a thing wrong. sold it and got out of the game, then this last year this f4i came up and i got it. no special reason, the f4i was an awsome buy and a good bike to stunt so i snatched it up. i love 929's though.
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
ok, i got ya, Where do I put the electronics then? Sorry to hear about the back, I know how that feels. Buts im happy to hear your back in the game buddy.
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
slip it over ur ssbrake line or ur clutch cable....anywhere out the way of ur clipons....think how often you use the lift controls anyway?? i never signal never horn....just highbeams when its dark

Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
on my f4i i routed it back down the left side and it's zip tied under the motor brace. i can still reach my headlight and horn and it's completely tucked away.
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
Binder sense your talking about routing in all. I've seen pics to mount the key in diff locations is there anything like tools wise I need to take my ignition out and mount it into the air duct. I'm going back to SF when this motor gets here. Still waiting......
Also I've had a habbit of almost kicking the key to off trying HC so I don't need that happening you know?

cool, im gettin it guys, slowly but surely. I had room to squeeze my left control between the left mirror brace and speedo and I used an industrial size zip tie. that fucked aint movin and its still close to where it used to be. And I made sure the clutch/rear brake levers wont hit it when the bars are completely turned. Just waitin on the master and brake lines and ill finally be set! Thanks again guys, and sorry again for my super squid question!

Also I've had a habbit of almost kicking the key to off trying HC so I don't need that happening you know?if i'm not mistaken it's a torx head bolt that holds the ignition on. Mine has a regular bolt in it because i've messed with it and forgotten what type it was. usually it's a torx head though. i think a t-45 or t-50 if i remember correctly
Re: Ready for a Rear Hand Brake!?!?!
Yeah sorry to jack the thread. Just I'd rather get the info in the thread asking the same type of questions. But thanks for the advice Binder. Caught me on a good day I guess being all sorry and what not.
