Re: slow wheelies
dude if you know what your doing and wanna smoke up cool go for it i know lots of guys that do!! but lets think through what bent **** said, i dont think its a good idea to recommend for a squid to go smoke a blunt and learn to wheelie...but i could be wrong how bout we go get a 16 yr old and get them wasted then teach them how to drive a car??? make sense?? i think not.
.................................................. .........................I never said anything of the sort, besides I do know people who learned stoned..........alcohol is completely different.
As far as being aggressive and pissing people off, truely i dont give a ****. I'm not gonna sit here and listen to this jack off giving new guys bad advice at the risk they could hurt themselves seriously!!! So for the "few" that dont like it they can suck on my *****!! and as far as me being a noob hell ya!!! im a noob for sure and until i can rock combo O's i will still consider myself a noob!! there is always someone better, but thats not gonna stop me from confronting posers giving false advice
.................................................. ..............................To each their own, everyone learns differently.......If Bent Rim is rocking idle, let him try to teach someone else....
I agree with you that idle doesnt NEED to play a role in learning slow ****!!! i just found that out a lil while back by dumb luck...i broke my idle and just kept slowing it down with the stock idle in place at around 1k rpms!!! its just a matter of smooth throttle control and brake coverage!!
.................................................. ................You don't think I know this?
which is why i posted that video of a guy ROCKING O'S IN THE RAIN ON A BONE STOCK REPSOL 1000.

Re: slow wheelies
Too bad you missed the rest of my post.......I don't know why, but it ended up in your quote. You must be slightly confused, because no one said you had to learn idle to do anything. BRT was just showing off the fact that he can catch idle, he never said anyone needed to do it. BRT has no one else to show off for, let him entertain the noobs.

Re: slow wheelies
the problem with that is these new guys are gonna get bad advice and risk injury and whatever else may happen
I dont care that he wants to strut his stuff whatever but dont give bad advice!!

Re: slow wheelies
I don't think it was bad advice in this particular thread.........there's guys on here that learned to catch idle BEFORE anything. Literally, before they clutched it up for the first time.........their goal was idle.
Re: slow wheelies
I working on getting my idle lower and lower. I was at like 4k when I originally was able to catch idle. Now I am down to like 3500 but I want to catch it lower. Whats the ideal idle?
Re: slow wheelies
Bring it back more and be lighter on the brake. I used to be that high now Im around 2-2.5k. When learning circles anything over 2k seemed to fly waaay to fast. 1.8-2k was perfect.
Re: slow wheelies
dude one thing i can tell you is dont become frustrated with it...when you go to the lot try and keep a clear head even when **** doesnt seem to wanna come right away!!
When you get frustrated you get a clouded mind and thought process which will effect your physical reactions and actions. If **** doesnt seem to come jus take it in stride and maybe stop for a second and reflect on what your doing I always like to come home and compare myself to pictures i took of others over the nite and also watching stunt videos to check body position and listening to the motor and watching the brake lights
idk just my .02

**** sucks when you stall and nut bust yourself also.
