Wheelie Help?
Wheelie Help?
I have a 02 R6 I can clutch it fine my problem is once i get it up i think i stay in the gas too hard because my rpm's get up quick but when i come off the throtle i lose the balance point and the bike comes down. My question is what is the best way to learn throttle control. I can ride it 2nd for about 100 feet but I want to be able to keep it up longer. Should I just keep practicing or does anyone have some advice. Thanx

Re: Wheelie Help?
just keep practicing theres no trick to doing wheelies its just controlling your front wheel with your throttle, weight, and rear brake. keep ur rear brake covered and have no fear. of course theres always the chance of looping it. but its worth it

Thanks I appreciate everyones help I tried it today and it seemed to work. I finally just said the hell with it and brought it up high as long as I stayed steady throttle it stayed up. What RPM's should I get it at to shift to third while its up? Once again I appreciate evryones help.
