Wheelie Help?

I have a 02 R6 I can clutch it fine my problem is once i get it up i think i stay in the gas too hard because my rpm's get up quick but when i come off the throtle i lose the balance point and the bike comes down. My question is what is the best way to learn throttle control. I can ride it 2nd for about 100 feet but I want to be able to keep it up longer. Should I just keep practicing or does anyone have some advice. Thanx

Re: Wheelie Help?

You need to get your front wheel higher.

Re: Wheelie Help?

just keep practicing theres no trick to doing wheelies its just controlling your front wheel with your throttle, weight, and rear brake. keep ur rear brake covered and have no fear. of course theres always the chance of looping it. but its worth it

Re: Wheelie Help?

You're not at balance point yet.

Re: Wheelie Help?

just hold the throttle steady.......dont shift to 3rd cause that could cause it to buck out of control and trust me, you dont want to have a bucking bike on your hands
