Stunting alone....

Anyone here stunt alone? I have to **** ******* sucks. I can't push myself cause if I mess myself or my bike up there isn't anyone there to help me. It seems like all the people in NY are copouts. Only looking out for themselfs. Yea no **** your supposed to do that. Then I look out west and theres tons of people riding together. Let me catch heat from this I wana hear it.

Re: Stunting alone....

no heat on this.....i do it man....go big or go home, just go big in a smart way, don't try limiter hc coasters when you don't have handbrake control and **** like that.....learn what you need in bits and pieces. and add on.....that way you learn and stay decently safe...i mean it is stunting....I'm about to move to Oxford, MS......no one rides...i'll be stunting alone for a couple years..BE SAFE

Do you have regular brake control?

Re: Stunting alone....

For the most part yes. Yeah I know I need regular brake skills to do NH O's in everything but going out doing circles and regular **** won't make me progress. Putting on my HB is going to open a whole new bag of tricks.

Sense I'll be alone for the most part hooking that HB up will boost my confidence to try harder.

i am different from most of the people on stunt life i think there is nothing wrong with having every thing stunt related done to your bike if you plan on learning then it will be there when you are ready to use it....

i here people giving newbees **** for having a twelve bar and cage and not being able to twelve but i think it is a good idea to have the bike ready...

Re: Stunting alone....

Thanks OMR. I can sleep in peace knowing its ok to have my pizza cutter, gpr, vortex, moose, cage, took off the 12 bar, and putting a HB cause what and how you said is the way I always look at people getting into this. They don't send you to war with just a water bottle they give you the whole saebang.

Re: Stunting alone....

I stunt alone 90% of the time. Sucks but if I had to wait on other people to practice I would never progress. Just try to be smart about it.

Re: Stunting alone....

I have no choice BUT to ride alone. Can't ask my Dad (age). I've only got one friend that is into it but doesn't have a bike. There's only this retarded kid down the street on some pos yz80 or something... I can't drive yet to meet up with anyone (plus I don't have a sportbike)... So yeah basically my riding situations suck.

Re: Stunting alone....

i stunt by myself all the time for a few reasons. 1-no one likes me. 2-no one around my local area rides as much as i do. 3-im too lazy to drive an hour just to sit around and bullshit at the lot. I keep my cell on me and i taught my wife how to attach the bike trailer if needed. I never needed anyone to push me b/c i push myself pretty damn hard. One good thing is that when you finally do meet up with everyone you're suddenly killing circles when everyone thought that you gave it up.

Re: Stunting alone....

I also ride alone in my area and it sucks but the only way I'll learn anything is by pushing myself I am very cautious maybe that’s keeping me back. I try to make it out of town as much as possible but then your looking at spending $$$ which also isnt all that fun but its nice to be around fellow stunters to learn new tricks and get valuable input

Re: Stunting alone....

I'm not a true stunter yet, still a noob. But the lil things I do work on I do alone...it sucks but it has its advantages too. Nobody to wait on or hold u up, u can just go out whenever, for however long...Just gotta find the right spots/areas to practice...
