Throttle control--- the process of using MINOR blips of the throttle to control the height of the bike when at bp or slightly behind bp.

Throttle choppin--- the process of violently adjusting your throttle to control ur wheelie. BIG NO NO

Brake control(front-stoppies,rear-wheelies)-- The process of feathering ur brake to control the height of your wheelie. Typically comes into play behind the balance point. Same applies to the front brake for stoppies.

You have to get slipping the clutch, throttle all at the same time. That video posted shows you what I mean. In the end man its going to take practice your not going to get it the first 50 or 100 times one day it will just click then you got it. I wish I lived near you cause I need someone to ride with cause everyone in Ny hates me or something IDK **** sucks. I wish I had a pic or vid of me but I don't to prove Im better then what I say. Also try stagger meaning put your left foot on the rear peg to have more control. One last thing your closing the throttle as soon as you come up. Like someone else says practice on being smooth and riding them out and it time they will get higher. One last note when you feel the o **** feeling then your most likely at BP from there you have engine breaking, and foot braking to keep you from looping. Right now though practice on consistanly riding them out clutching them small and gradually clutching it harder till the point you know how hard you have to clutch it to bring it where you want. It takes time man it is not going to happen over night. If you go out for a least 2 hours a day by the end of next month you should have progressed to doing basic stand ups. Later man.
Sweet, thanks a lot man, you ever near MA, gimma a ring.

My video was staggard stance.. I'll work on slipping now..

Thanks again man
seems to me by the sound and movement of the bike...just drop it...later you will master the clutch and finnese of leting it out by for now, all you need is drop it not to do what you do now (which btw killes your plates)...

just clutch it up on certain rpms (don't look at the ODO, just listen and feel the bike) and ride it out/shoot out your rpms, and while doing it concentrate on holding constant throttle with just little adjustments...

when you get comfortable clutchin up and riding it out at foot high, clutch it up little bit higher, get used to it, clutch it higher again...and higher the rpms are harder engine brake is as you let go off throttle...

get sickinnovations cage they are indestructible, price vs. quality is the best out there...you can remove it whenever you want in 10 minutes...

Again, read the wheelie sticky before you get hurt.

Hold on, I don't understand what your saying... And I don't wanna kill my plates so I wanna understand what your saying. It's hurting my plates to just let go of the clutch completely? Cause that is what I'm doing. I pull it in all the way, rev to 11,000rpms and let go completely. That kills the plates? What shoul I do then? Slip it, rev it to 11,000 and let go completely?

yea but I didn't. :p

Aright I sliped the clutch, I know what you guys are talking about now.. It sucks though. It's so unpredictable. Some times it whips up, and some time is comes up a little slower, and some times it doesn't come up.

Slipping the clutch means disgage it slitely with out bring it all the way in. Then at the same time keep your revs the same for right now go like 7K and at the same time your are slipping it release it causing your plates to catch to that rpm now when that happens its going to feel like oh **** its coming up to fast but thats what you want. Give me a call man. I'll pm you my number if you still don't get it. I would rather go through what your doing wrong then have you go out and try it and flip that ****. Later.

are you all ****** kidding me?? he almosted endo'd into the woods.. theres little kids around.. people walking around.. he's got a t-shirt and a helmet.. and your telling him how to wheelie.. FIRST THING KID! find a long deserted road.. so if you actually ride one out you have some room.. next.. get a spine.. or a jacket.. looks cooler without one but you'll look alittle cooler with some skin on.. now before you start to wheelie on your 7th day with the bike.. try learning the bike first get comfy with it.. THEN try so wheelie it.. for me when i learned.. i found a LONG DESERTED ROAD first then got it up to like 20-30 in second then slipped the clutch don't rev it to 11g all the way in and try to dump it.. pull in the clutch to the friction point.. just where it lets presure off the plates.. rev up to like 8-8500 then slip the clutch out try to do it with one finger so you still have a good grip on the bars.. lean back off the bike ride out and repeat 1000 times. you will get it.. be you really need to take the time and learn to ride first, you will be 10x's better 10x's quicker instead of just jumping on and going.. i know it sucks to wait be its well worth it in the end.. 4 months riding or 36 months recovering.. hope everything works out bro.. rubberside down
