if you finance thats going to be thr first big mistake in a long line of mistakes you WILL make. pay cash. If your parent are giving you thr bike tell em would they rather they spend 8000 or 2-3 grand? plus you will need a few hundred for helmet, over hundred for cage etc etc etc

A FEW HUNDRED for a helmet???

Damn im gonna get fucked up on all of this, a few hundred for a helmet, 280 for the MSF, plus the risk of getting stopped without a license for the first few months (till Feb.08).

Man this is getting more and more expensive by the day.

I will definatly try to get a used bike.

Re: Can someone help me out?

but you can get a cheap HJC to start out with for $100 and up. If you fit one in the store then find it on ebay there even cheaper. I got mine years ago for $50.
Just make sure it fits tight. It sucks being on the highway and turn your head when your helmet shifts on you. I just got an Arai and there **** but damn expensive.

When you leave the dealer parking lot its just lost $1000. And you gonna drop it. Everybody does. Even if its opps the kickstand was up and fell over. Borrow a few thousand and you'll thank me later. Get a summer job and get a cheap f4i in the winter for $1500-2000 or get a mint bike for $3000-4000. I dont know. From experience I've been down your road and its never good.
^listen to him...get a used F4i...I would never recommend getting a brand new bike as a first bike ESPICALLY if you're gonna stunt (theres no way you're gonna have the will power to wait a couple yrs to attempt to stunt). if you have a $7k allowance maybe they'll let u get a used bike and either a fiddy, dirtbike (regular size), or quad and you can pratice stunting on that.
