Hey guys, some newbie questions on clipons. Does moving stock clipons wider and more straight instead of angled back make wheelies more comfortable?

What are 7/8 bars I see them mentioned here a lot. Also, what is the purpose of risers? More comfortable? Easier to bring the front up?

 

wider gives ya better stability with wheelies and stoppies, 7/8 inch bars are standard size bars, if you look at some crusers most of them have 1 inch bars, all sportbikes are 7/8 inch just like any dirtbike bar, some dirtbike bars step down from 1inch to 7/8 for the grips to fit on but are a bit stronger bein 1 inch at the clamps, risers give more of an upright riding position, more comfortable and makes things easier to do (lifting the front end up) because you are more upright and laid back a lil more versus leaned over, most race style bikes like most rockets are not meant to bring front end up thats y they lean so far forward, just makes everything a little easier with higher bars or less degree of bend in the clip ons, a lot of ppl flip the clip ons to make them higher and straighter, i have 0 degree clip ons which are about an inch or so higher thanstandard bars and are much more comfortable to stunt with i love um (freestyle ingenuity 0 degree clip ons)
