Shifting While Catwalking A 1999 CBR 600F4
Ok i was on here a while ago trying to figure out how to wheelie my CBR 600f4 . After Some Advice i think i have been able to find my balance point in 1rst gear. Now I'm trying to figure out shifting. I wanna know what rpm's should i be shifting at roughly and should i clutch when trying to shift... And another other advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks guys

i havent done anything with the back break. Damn i feel like an idiot for asking this but what should i be doing???.... Cause what im doing now is cracking the throttle whith on the back pegs i can get it up to the bp or close too it then im gradually giving it more throttle untill im about to redline.

a web site with tons of clips of people doing stunts on their motorcycles. you may learn what Balance point is if you watch closely.

So Ok ive been lookin at vidz but my next question is are they constanly using the break while there wheeling or do they only ur the break to get into the bp???
Re: Shifting While Catwalking A 1999 CBR 600F4
you have a thing called engine brake, it brings the front wheel down when u let off the gas, alot of people learn to do 2nd gear clutch up wheels and at about 60-70 mph u have alot of wind resistance which makes your BP lower and if u learn to have smooth throttle control and quit power wheelien u can actually slow your wheelie down with out useing the back brake, alot of people that are doing 50+ mph wheels DO NOt use the back brake.

No it requires constant modulation of the throttle and somtimes rear brake. You will know you are at BP because your bike is no longer chasing the front end and gaining speed/ rpm. Also the front end will feel like it is weightless.
