Learning the Rear Brake!
Re: Learning the Rear Brake!
the only difference i find is that foot brake is alot more sensitive, so you can't just jam it when you get in a bind cause it slams the bike down and you forward. other than pressure thats only problem i had but i got it in one weekend. still better at hand brake but i force my self to use foot till i got it on lock
Re: Learning the Rear Brake!

Re: Learning the Rear Brake!

please dont do both feet on passenger pegs, especially not on the streets, dont want people to see that ****

why? i don't ride street much anyway i saw a video of a guy on here riden on one with both feet on front and he got flamed. would this be true for both on passenger

Re: Learning the Rear Brake!
that's how my new bike is.(06 gixxer with a 905 bar)
I suspect I will just take the seat off, I haven't tried it yet, but that seems to feel good on the stand. just finished the majority of set up on it..need oil p/u, couple hb parts, and gearing, then I'm done.

Re: Learning the Rear Brake!
Foot in bar is harder to balance side to side and fight wobbles which noobs get a lot of with their choppy throttle control. That's something you don't have to worry about on a quad or while sitting on the stand.
Re: Learning the Rear Brake!
Never felt out a new combo transition or something while on the stand? C'mon man, I stood on the bike staggard on the showroom floor to see how it felt.
50 was good at wobble control, but bad for lumberjack wrist.

what did you need to use the handbrake for?
