installing DB bars
Re: installing DB bars
just take your time, measure everything multiple times off different points, triangulating the measurements until they are exact. then just eyeball it. lol
its not too hard just measure alot, take your time, and use a pointed punch to mark your holes so your drill bit doesnt walk.
good luck!

Re: installing DB bars
If your doing it on a R6 just drill out the bolt holes for your clipons on the triple bigger, they are already spaced perfect and everything. You'll need longer break lines and you can get away w/ just rerouting your throttle cable, You will need a longer clutch cable though.........good luck
Re: installing DB bars
...make some support plates and put them under the tripple, and if you can make your own risers with bigger surface on triple to even the force of possible impact, therefore less chance to break...you can also make both upper and lower riser part independent, it's easier to remove and put back the bar...something like this...
