i have a 95 f3 and i want to gear it up but i also want to be able to take to the streets what would be a good size sprocket for me and does anybody out there have one laying around

 

I have a 48 tooth 520

 

what size is stock for a f3 and how much you need to get for it

I'm pretty sure your bike has a 530 chain and sprockets on it man, a 520 rear won't do you any good unless you get a 520 chain and front too.

 

if i go +5 in the back can i still use the same chain as long as the new sprocket is a 530?

 

only if you got a -2 front sprocket with it

 

and that is a pretty good street setup, gonna be runnin real high rpms though

 

i have a -1 +3 530 both steel (sprocket specialists) so they will last forever lol. still in good shape & will fit on a stock chain (thats what I ran) best gearing on f2/f3's. Took a couple 150mile road trips. Its a little buzzy on the highway but not bad. Now im running +13 and its a little steep, I'd put the -1/+3 back on but i have a 520 chain now. let me know if you want them.

 

got 56 on the rear and liked alot !

 

got a 04 cbr600rr. slammed it 3 inches and adjusted the forks. only mod i've put is the k&n air filter. been tryin the whole stuntin thing. i heard better sprockets was the way to go. any suggestions?

 

just take out the lowering kit and make wheelies. why did you lower it anyways?
