acrobatics
for all you nimble crazy's out there(u know who u are). Are there any tips on practicing acrobatics and learning balance before you go out and practice at speed or ne drill's for movement around the bike and learning it before you take it to the streets. I have a feeling im goin to get flamed and be told to suck it up and harden the **** up in which case i guess i will have to but i was just wondering if there where ne ways to practice without trying it at speed 1st off. I really enjoy watchin the acrobatic stuff Aaron and jacod brunell are some of my favourite stunta's cuz the know how to get the croud going.
Re: acrobatics
i know on kyle woods wheelie video they have a bike on the back of a tailgate. the tailgate is down and i guess the bike is resting on either the cage or exhaust. i don't think its exactly at balance point but it is in a wheelie position and can still move some. but other than that suck it up......j/k good luck
Re: acrobatics
its bad to say but you learn the most from crashing I find.....try to do elevators and stuff slow....practie with the bike on a race stand and then move to the lot. not sure what acro moves you want to learn but spinderellas and gorilla rolls are easy things to learn and so are christs....being a stunter means having the ***** to try something

Re: acrobatics
yeh thanks guys i did suck it up one time on the highway and crashed at switchback so i have sorta wanted to maybe try it stationary just couldnt think of a way to simulate actually balancing but thats those are good tips
Re: acrobatics
Like hell bs.....I do them all the time and never once had trouble doing them....the only thing that has ever happend is hitting my wrist on the bar once.
If you have trouble with them say that....not that others have trouble with them

Re: acrobatics
that's true gorilla rollz is not hard , if you doin backflips or others stuff not on the bike , you will be doin easy gorilla and others acros...
PS nothin is better like good acrobatics

Re: acrobatics
I go on back roads, let the bike idle in second gear,"about 12mph", and practise like that. Your gunna fall but at 12mph u can land on your feet most of the time. As long as you got a good cage the bike will be fine.
Now....switchback stuff is prolly pretty hard going that slow, but i don't know, I havn't done anything switchback yet.
