250 stunt bike

i have a 04 250 ninja and am stuntin it. i have a major problem with the crank case vent leaking into the air box, when it gets to 11-12 o'clock. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this that would be great.

Re: 250 stunt bike

does it cause it to smoke severely when it leaks into the airbox?

hahahah awesome buddy, glad to hear more people stunting the ex250. I love mine, you have to clutch it right to the balance point because its so gutless.

I took off the main vent hose (the one sorta above the transmission- like to the rear part of the motor) and I ran it to the front of the bike and into a gatorage bottle. I punched some holes in the gatorade bottle so it would vent but not leak. Once a night, Id empty it back into the crankcase. If you overfill the oil it will pump out a lot more.

I think the correct way to fix it, is to drill a hole in the top CENTER of the valve cover, and lead that to a vent. (if you drill in the side of the valve cover it will leak out when you do turns- I learned that the hard way)

good luck.

Re: 250 stunt bike

no martino i myself do not have to clutch it up to balance point b/c i made a 60 tooth sprocket for it. and yeah i tried the bottle thing and that seems kinda shady. i think ill do the valve cover thing. seems like it would work 10x better. thanks for the help.

Sorry plhusaf, didn't mean to offend you.

I was saying my opinion on how it LOOKS, not on how much SKILLS you have stunting it!
