Does a full cage ruin cornering?

I have the basic frame sliders on my 00 R1 and was thinking of getting the full cage setup but I was wondering if that will ruin my canyons runs? I dont do really deep cornering. If anyone has them let me know how they are working out.

If you are not a true knee dragger..then a 905 cage would be fine.

Re: Does a full cage ruin cornering?

what do you mean you don't do really deep cornering... what are you doing in the canyons then? I drag my cage every once in a while, but then again, without a cage I drag footpegs, so I don't know if you would have a problem with one or not

Unless you use your bike more for stunting than just regular riding, I would suggest you get a set of powers race railz... I hear sickinnovations makes them too, they're just not on their website... might want to send them an email asking for prices etc.

Don't listen to Robbie about anything that has to do with a big bike, he only knows about computers and 50's

dragging cage doesn't even ruin corning really, just scares the **** out of you the first time you hear the noise an feel the flex.

I had a powers cage on my 02 r6 and would scrape the cage every day diggin into highspeed Left hand turns at intersections... i have allways wanted to low side a left hander into a telephone poll for some reason but have trouble finding the right oil spills and gravel
