iwa thinkin the same with the free play since your usin such little throttle to keep it up it seems to be all on or off with the freeplay i have now.
should i put the idle around 4000?

think about it.....you have a stock geared bike, with the idle turned up to like 4000 rpms, and let it go, your gonna be going anywhere from 10-18 mph with the idle turned up....now you have a geared up bike, and turn the idle up, you'll prob be going anywhere from 2-10 mph, depending on your gearing....
Re: throttle freeplay
find your throttle cable adjustment and crank all the play out until it the throttle tube starts binding and becoming stiff to turn then back off a hair. it might feel funny for a minute but it will help you immensely

I think its because you dont need as much power from the engine when you have a big sprocket to get the same response
oh yeah.. why would anyone want freeplay in their throttle? makes for sloppy throttle control
