How to make your back tire stick on an arena floor?
How to make your back tire stick on an arena floor?
We are looking to have a show in arenas this is a good opportunity for us but we need to find a way to make our tires stick more. Some people said put pop on your tires, some said use a rubber carpet to help start the wheelie. Does anyone else have suggestions? I know some of you already did shows in an arena and know what I mean. I need help from you guys please, this is really important.
Re: How to make your back tire stick on an arena floor?
get a fertilizer sprayer and LIGHTLY MIST - Coca Cola over the floor. make sure you wet mop and LET DRY the floor about an 1/2 hour prior and allow at least another 1/2 hour after u spray the coke for it to tack up.
the key is.. LIGHTLY MIST. u dont want big coke puddles
also use tire warmers if youve got them, rain slicks work well to. u can always drop a few psi in the tire pressure. and for stoppies. find the spot u wanna bring em up at in practice. then go by that spot 10-15 times and lock the rear tire there leaving a lil rubber. it helps

kanes way is the old way...you need coke or better yet, fruit punch SYRUP...comes in boxes from bars or whatnot.
put it in a bucket and mop it on....if it is humid out, ie raining, then you have to put a thinner layer on. if not, then the thicker the better as long as it has time to dry.
moncton...seems i did a show there last year...sounds familiar.
anyways, i've done probably 15 arena shows this past year and that works the best for nme
straight coke is easier to mess up and ruin the surface
done correctly it is as good as pavement...i've almost eaten **** yacking up endos too fast on it!

Thanks for your advice. Have you ever tried dirt bike tires?
https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=171729
I was told that would help because the dirt bikes can wheelie no problem.
Maybe you did come to Moncton, it's in New-Brunswick just on top of Maine.

rain tires work a little better, but they are so soft they dont last long and once they are gone, they are worse than any other tire out there.
good luck. dont undercut your fellow stunters, it's not good etiquitte (sp) and they WILL find out.
