06 gsxr question

my buddy has a 06 gsxr 750 and he barely clutch it up in second. He is a beginner. I hopped on his bike and I can wheelie anything. For the life of me I couldnt sit down and get it up unless i was going 60mph. So I know its not him. Does anyone have any advice I can give him. If u are going slower the bike comes up alittle and bogs right out. And I've clutched the crap out of it too and still didnt work. I gave him all my knowledge I was wondering if Suzuki did something to the bike as far as timing etc to lessen wheelies?

Re: 06 gsxr question

Nope, more practice. I noticed the 600s you really gotta rape the throttle. Try bounce clutch.

I agree with you on him practicing, but I cant get it up either and like i mentioned earlier I can wheelie anything. Its a 750 I have hit the throttle so hard i should of flipped the damn thing and it didnt budge.

Re: 06 gsxr question

The New Gsxr's Are Garbage. They Have No Bottom End And Ive Seen Nothing But Problems From Every Model, The 6,750, And 1k. We Have Had 3 In The Last Month (all With Less Than A Thousand Miles) Come Back With Fuked Up Clutches. The Washers Behind The Clutch Basket Are Getting So Hot That They Are Welding Together And To The Shaft. Also Had A 1k That Wouldnt Shift Into 3rd Or 4th And It Had Less Than 100 Miles. All The New Bikes Are So Light And Small That The Bike Runs Hot And Parts Get Worn Out Alot Faster. Im Curious What We Are Going To Do For Stuntbikes In 10 Years?

Re: 06 gsxr question

clutching is only half the battle on my 6. anything out of 1st requires a bounce for it to pop up.
