Gearing for a F3

Ok so after 41,000 miles the original sprockets are wasted. I was wondering what gearing I should get. I can get 1st up to bp but can't ride it yet, and 2nd if I bounce really hard. I just want something to make 1st less touchy and 2nd slower.

hmm... "1st less touchy and 2nd slower" seems to contradict

just slap at least mid 50s on the back. you'll want to run big eventually.

Won't a smaller front sprocket, or/and a larger rear make 1st gear easier to keep up becase It will take more throttle movement? It seems when I get up to bp its to hard to keep up without it getting choppy. And it will make 2nd gear slower also.

Re: Gearing for a F3

it will make the transmission shorter, but more twichy and more sensitive also...so just stick with stock until you can at least slow it down decently and catch idle...

It'll do the exact opposite of that
