problems drifting to the right

all summer iv'e been sliding over to the right as soon as i bring up a highway stand-up wheelie. im not sure if its something i'm doing or if it is the bike. ive tried steering it to the left but it makes no difference. i try putting no weight on the right peg and still nothing. the good stunters i ride with say that they have never seen someone go to one side as quickly as i do. does anyone have any idea what the problem could be or any solutions to fixing it. thanks

Re: problems drifting to the right

when doing parking lot stuff, i am around 18psi, i've been working on burnouts alot lately, when i go on long trips or go to corner, i bump up to 30. long story short, was on hwy, pulled it up, kept going left real hard, no matter what............ so here's what i did, checked to make sure my tire was straight, which it was, was clueless, my boy asked what direction i was primarily doing burnouts in, which was left, lowered the pressure back down and problem went away. that was my experience............

hope it helps......

Re: problems drifting to the right

your probably putting alot of weight on the footpeg and not knowing it. also the roads lean off the the right so you could just be going with the road.

other people ride different, if u have any mechanical skills aim your rear rim the the right and that will put weight onto the left side of the bike when u wheelie. factory wheelie alignment marks can be a few mm's off from being TRUE so it could possibly be an alignment issue or bent swing arm etc..

Re: problems drifting to the right

I keep doing that. I put it down to the camber of the road, but then sometimes it just keeps going on the straight and narrow.

Are you leaning to the right to try and see round your front fairing? (I dunno how tall you are)
