can any one tell me can you add the twist screw set up on a gsxr set screw like you can the honda's so you can move the idle up[ and down easy and if so sort of give a run throgh on it .....help im new and dont know what to do lol...

 

buy an idle adjuster from an older gixxer (2000-2001) and remove the idle set screw on the left side of the carbs and install the idle cable in there....done.

 

the 01 750 had one, not all the old ones did.

 

I got a cable from a 97 900rr that my friend had layin around it wouldnt fit the threads are different so I just welded it to the end of the stock idle screw and I havent had any pyoblems out of it

 

i'm pretty sure 00-03 750's had them. mine is an 02 motor. i think they stopped putting them on the 600's in like 03. i know the 03 1000 doesn't have it either cause my friend dan's didn't have one.

 

no, the 2000 model 750 is the only gixxer that has one. that is the one you need to order. some of the 600's have a choke on the handlebar, but thats it.
get the bracket with it too, that way it attaches to your fairing and doesnt flop around.
